WHAT TYPE OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

Currently I work with the finest professional digital cameras and lenses by Nikon. I do offer an 'all film' option with an emphasis on b/ w film using Nikon and Leica cameras and lenses-please inquire for more details.

WHAT IS THE RATIO OF BLACK & WHITE TO COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS?

The ratio is generally 30% B/W and 70% Color. Family photos are usually done in color. Digital technology makes it easy to convert color to b/w, sepia, and duo-tones.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Based on Bainbridge Island, WA. I also have facilities in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and am available for destination weddings almost anywhere in the world. I love to travel.

DO YOU CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?

Travel time is generally included in my fees. I only ask that I be reimbursed for actual expenses such as airfare, lodging, and car rental. I will go almost anywhere to photograph your wedding. No additional charges for weddings within 75 mile radius of Seattle.

DO YOU PROVIDE OUR IMAGES ON A DISK?

Yes, with every level of wedding photography coverage you'll receive a DVD with high-resolution files of all the edited images.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

I require a 50% non-refundable retainer fee to secure your date. I accept Visa, and MasterCard, as well as checks and cash. The balance is due three weeks before your wedding. As a courtesy, I hold the final payment until after your wedding has been photographed and edited. Portrait photography session fees are due on the day of the session. Portrait print orders require 50% down payment.

CAN WE ADD PHOTOGRAPHS AND/OR CHANGE IMAGE SIZES IN OUR ALBUM?

Sure. All our albums are custom-designed and you will receive a quote before any additional work has begun.

DO YOU WORK WITH AN ASSISTANT?

I prefer to work alone. I've learned how to photograph weddings quietly, efficiently, and as unobtrusively as possible. On rare occasion, I will bring an assistant if the wedding is large and lengthy. I never employ a 'second shooter' because my couples hire me for my personal vision and style, and my discrete method of working, The more photographers, the more difficult it is to be unobtrusive.

WHAT IS A 'FLUSHMOUNT BOOK'?

Your images are printed directly onto the photographic page much like the design of an elegant magazine. The pages are bonded to heavy archival board to form the leaves, which are in turn bound together to form a book.

HOW LONG AFTER OUR WEDDING UNTIL WE SEE THE EDITED IMAGES?

Approximately 3-6 weeks.

CAN OUR WEDDING BE VIEWED ONLINE?

Yes. An online gallery of your edited photographs is included in every package.
